A Recipe For a Delicious Beetroot Smoothie
An easy and refreshing smoothie, packed full of nutrients, this smoothie takes just a few minutes to make!
Ingredients
1 apple
1 lemon
2 beetroot (cooked)
Add a little water to get the right consistency
Method
1. Wash, core and chop the apple.
2. Halve and juice the lemon.
3. Chop the cooked beetroot into chunks and place in blender with the lemon and apple and blend. Blend everything together until smooth. Add sufficient a couple of tablespoons of water to get the desired consistency. Add a slice of lemon or a sprig of basil to serve.
Preparation tine approximately 5 minutes
