Home-compostable and Biodegradable Coffee Capsules
Mövenpick has created these home-compostable, biodegradable coffee capsules in response to consumer demand and because they actively wanted to help reduce waste and protect the environment. The capsule body is made out of raw vegetable materials and the top is made from organic materials. Both the body and the top are biodegradable. You can easily dispose of your used Green Caps in your own compost or in green waste containers after use. What’s more is that they biodegrade up to 90% within twelve months and 100% after a few months longer.
Jürgen Herrmann, CEO of Mövenpick Holding and responsible for the “Fine Food” business, says “The future of Mövenpick is based on our innovative roots; but at the same time it is an expression of our wish to become even more sustainable. ”
Airtight Sealing Technology to Guarantee Coffee Quality
