Snowshoeing apparently really went up in popularity during lockdown as more and more people discovered this exhilarating way of viewing nature in Winter when it is snowy. On a recent trip to beautiful Les Diablerets, we set off early and visited Glacier 3000 and the Peak Walk by Tissot in the morning and after lunch at Restaurant Botta we went snowshoeing in the afternoon.

If you take the cable car it takes you to Glacier 3000 and the Peak Walk.  But we decided to do some snow shoeing and about 200 meters out of the car park turned right onto our route for the day, route 468 (schweizmobil.ch) from Col Du Pillion to Lake Retaud and back.
